QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
LUCKIS AI RANCH — Questions & answers
A few clear answers before you decide whether to follow along.
What is LUCKIS AI RANCH?
It is a concept-stage ranch co-creation project initiated by Liang Yang, inspired by Lucky and a wish for a life closer to nature. We are exploring how people, AI and suitable equipment could care for a place together. The first possible region is Southern California; no ranch is secured.
Can I be interested without offering land, a skill or work?
Yes. Interest can begin with nature, animals, shared meals, learning, technology or the idea of creating something together. You do not need to prove a qualification or commit labor or resources to follow the idea. We are first learning who is interested, rather than asking everyone to join a pilot.
How can I express interest today?
The lightweight interest form is being prepared and is not yet live. For now, you can read the project and its dated updates. If you already have a specific collaboration to introduce, the existing detailed Feishu collaboration form remains available. It takes about 3–5 minutes and is more detailed than the planned interest form.
Does expressing interest mean I will have an interview or join the project?
No. Liang Yang will review expressions of interest and decide whom to invite to a further conversation. A conversation would be arranged only by agreement. Interest does not create a job offer, partnership, membership or obligation to work.
Can I follow updates without agreeing to a conversation?
Yes. The planned lightweight form will separate occasional project updates from willingness to receive a conversation invitation, with neither selected by default. Data-use consent will be explained separately. The existing detailed form already has its own consent notice and a separate optional updates choice; read those before submitting.
Are ranch visits, stays or community membership available?
Ranch visits and stays are not open. A free founding community is planned, and its direct joining channel is still being prepared. Following the project does not include accommodation, ownership, investment returns, guaranteed work or permanent ranch access. Any future visit would need a real site, host approval, capacity and separate terms.
Is the AI and robotics system already running?
No live LUCKIS equipment is connected. The website includes concept demonstrations and clearly identified AI illustrations. AI may eventually help organize information and routine tasks; suitable equipment may assist repetitive work. People would continue to check results, care for animals and make important decisions. Named technology references are not confirmed partners.
What comes next, and when could a pilot happen?
The current priority is gathering interest and having suitable conversations chosen by Liang Yang. A later pilot would depend on a suitable owner, an agreed site and scope, responsible people and practical operating arrangements. Earlier planning allowed at least a year, with a working range of 12–18 months for a pilot; this is not a promised launch date or a reason to commit now.
