The beginning, honestly.

Lucky, a family wish and a Texas ranch experience helped inspire the first questions behind LUCKIS.

The first inspiration

Lucky led us to imagine a home with more grass, trees and freedom. A visit to a Texas ranch with Lucky, our friends Julian and Marcela, and their family gave me my first experience of American ranch life. That experience helped inspire LUCKIS.

What had been prepared

Prepared: the founding story, bilingual website and concept demonstrations of ranch care. These explain an idea; they are not evidence of a working ranch.

The early pilot direction

Next: meet a suitable landowner, agree on one area and a few useful tasks, and establish the original workload and costs. The pilot needs at least a year; our working planning range is 12–18 months, with timing dependent on site and agreements.

No ranch is secured. No live equipment is connected, and no savings, revenue or global access have been validated.

CURRENT PARTICIPATION

Interest first. A conversation when it fits.

We first want to understand who is interested and what draws them to LUCKIS. Liang Yang will decide whom to invite to a further conversation. An expression of interest does not commit you to work, contribute resources or join a pilot.

The lightweight interest form is being prepared and is not yet available. You can read the project updates here in the meantime.

The planned form will keep receiving occasional updates separate from being open to a conversation invitation. You will be able to choose either, both or neither; data-use consent will be explained separately.

For a specific collaboration you already want to introduce: the existing external Feishu form takes about 3–5 minutes and is reviewed by Liang Yang through FIT Group's registration inbox. It is more detailed than the planned interest form. Please read its data-use notice before submitting.
